Jennifer Buckley
Originally from Virginia, Jennifer grew up between Kansas and Arizona before making her way to Los Angeles in 2015. Her fascination with the paranormal began early, thanks to a childhood spent in a haunted house that made the unexplained feel a little too real.
Growing up Jennifer thought she was going to become a professional soccer player, but that quickly switched to acting when she fell in love with the theater life, you may even find her scare acting this year.
Now, as co-host of Spooks N’ Spirits, she dives headfirst into chilling stories and eerie encounters, bringing both curiosity and a personal connection to the unknown. Off mic, when she’s not busy obsessing over every butterfly, she’s usually with Kane (her chow chow), or playing videos games that result in her jumping out of her chair (she may wear a diaper while she plays).
bethanie Ackerman
Originally from Indiana, Bethanie has been chasing chills since she was 13, when her very first ghostly encounter sparked a lifelong fascination for the paranormal.
Before launching Spooks N’ Spirits, growing up Bethanie always thought she would like to be a Veterinarian… which somehow spiraled into becoming a Film Producer. So, as aspiring artists tend to do, Bethanie moved to LA at 22 to attend Film School. Now, her background as a Producer on horror films allows her to bring a creative eye (and a flair for the dramatic) to every story she tells. As co-host, she blends her research with creative storytelling, making sure every episode lingers long after the lights go out.
When Bethanie’s not diving into haunted histories or making your skin crawl for the podcast, you can probably find her hanging out with her cats, Modelo and Jäger, and sipping her favorite Barefoot Peach Wine, or planning her next Halloween Party—the perfect holiday for someone who lives and breathes for the spooky season.
